From Berlin-Gatow to Grunewald with SUP
"If you waste time having fun, you're not wasting time."

Living in Berlin-Gatow means you can perfectly enjoy yourself in the green spaces. That's why I recently bought myself a Stand Up Paddle Board. I'll be spending this summer in Berlin with it, exploring various places on the water.
The current on the Havel river isn't very strong, so I managed to paddle well from Berlin-Gatow in Spandau to the other side in Berlin-Grunewald. Both sides have a bathing spot where you can relax nicely. After a short break at the Grunewald Tower, I then headed back to Gatow.
My First SUP Adventure
This was my first SUP tour from Berlin-Gatow to Grunewald, and it was absolutely worth it. The peaceful waters of the Havel river provide the perfect environment for paddle boarding, especially during Berlin's beautiful summer days.
There's something incredibly therapeutic about gliding across the water while being surrounded by Berlin's lush green landscapes. The journey from Gatow to Grunewald offers stunning views and a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
For anyone considering SUP boarding in Berlin, I highly recommend this route. The relatively calm waters make it perfect for beginners, while the scenic beauty keeps you motivated throughout the journey.
